THE MOOD AT GOLF PARK

The mood at Golf Park from late las year is great and promising. Events have been happening almost every week from Clubnites on Tuesdays, Monthly Mugs every 3 rd Tuesday of the month by Heritage Property Consultants and Casino & Koroga every Friday.
We’ve also participated in the Nairobi District League 2019 both home and away where we are currently ranked at position 7.
Captain Sam Mbinda and his team have much more in store in terms of events and fun this year which makes Golf Park the place to be.
COMPETITIONS AND FUN

Captain Sam Mbinda and Manager Jacob Okello plus their teams have done a great job of ensuring that most of the Club Competition Days are sponsored.
In the recent past, we’ve had good turnouts during events like The Aloha Safaris Corporate Golf Day. Aloha Safaris Corporate Golf Day took place on the 12th Oct 2018. This was well attended with winners getting great weekend getaways in luxurious hotels and locations in the country e.g. in Mombasa.
This was followed by a well sponsored monthly mug by the Heritage Property Consultants which happened in tandem with the Ladies Medal by The Lady Captains’ Kitty on the 16th Oct 2018.
We have other great events lined up like the one coming up on Tuesday 23rd Oct 2018. This shall be sponsored by The Maina Mbaiz.
Bring along a golfing friend for a round, mingle and have fun at the 19th – The Mbais Place.
EVENTS AT GOLF PARK
August 23, 2018
Golf Park is live with so many sponsored club events. We had four sponsored events in July and one by Ken Lucas & Shadrach Kamau on Aug 7 th . The Detour Match Play Kick Off will happen on Friday the 24 th Aug 2018 at Golf Park. This will be a well sponsored event with lots of prizes for grabs and lots of nyama choma and entertainment at the 19th.
All Thursdays from the beginning of Aug 2018 are Thursday Casino Days. Entry to this is a 1000 bob plus 900 green fees and an optional 200 (two club) totaling to 2100. On all Fridays the same as Thursdays; are also casino days but Friday even gets better in the evening where participants are served dinner from the Maina Mbai’s Bunker.
Pros from Golf Park raised the GP’s flag high in the just concluded Safari Tour at Nyali with David Wakhu winning the tournament. This will definitely raise the morale of all golfers related to Golf Park especially the League Team.
